Update line items before ordering equipment or exporting to other software. Order form retail values or insurance allow values may have changed since the line items were generated. Updating the line items ensures the most up to date values are used.
When ARTSCO updates values on an order form, such as retail values, the values are not updated for existing orders. This allows the system to maintain the correct history for past orders. Update line items for orders when appropriate in your workflow to guarantee up to date line item values.
When existing line items are no longer available on updated order forms, a warning appears and the associated obsolete items are marked as hidden and '(obsolete)' is appended to the description. The user can view the hidden item descriptions marked as obsolete to determine how to modify the updated order form appropriately.
