Email sent by RxWeb opens the default Email specified in your computer settings.
Email is not sent automatically, only the opening of the Email with the proper information is automatic. You must manually send the Email by clicking on the appropriate send button.
A local installed Email client such as Outlook is the easiest to set up but web based
Before sending the Email, make any final changes such as modifying the text, adding recipients, etc.
Setting Up Default Email On Your Computer
Local Email Client (Outlook, Windows 10 Mail, etc.)
- Set the operating system Email default to the appropriate value such as Outlook (see image above)
Web Email (Outlook On The Web, Gmail, etc.)
- Set the operating system Email default to Chrome (see image above)
- In Chrome enter the URL: chrome://settings/handlers and make sure 'Sites can ask to handle protocols' is selected. See image below.
