Text Box Layout Item Properties

Select only one item on the page to view and edit item specific properties. Editing item specific properties on Multiple item selections are not allowed.
Linking an item to the database will automatically set the appropriate properties based on the database field chosen. Do not change properties automatically set by the database link such as the 'Max Length', 'Read Only Filter' or 'Edit' type.
To save time when creating a user defined (order level) database link, select the item then enter the unique user defined name in the 'Order Level DB Link' property box. The link is created when clicking outside of the property. Note: Even though the 'Data' dropdown is internally set to 'database', the correct value does not show until the selected item is re-selected again.
To save time when creating a commonly used link, select the link type from the 'Set DB Link From Ver8' drop down list instead of manually creating the link through the 'Edit Database Type' common properties button.
If another type of item should be used instead of the initial item created (text box should really be text area for example) simply change the item type at the top of the property window.
